Welcome to my world of coloured pencil drawing
I create detailed, realistic artworks inspired by the quiet beauty of the natural world. Hares, birds, flowers and other familiar creatures are at the heart of my work, each one drawn with patience, observation and a deep sense of connection to the stories they carry.
Working almost exclusively in coloured pencil, I am fascinated by the way light falls across feathers, fur and petals, and by the character that emerges through careful attention to detail. My aim is not simply to record what I see, but to capture something of the spirit and presence of each subject.
As well as sharing finished artwork, I invite you behind the scenes through my blog, where I write about works in progress, drawing techniques, creative challenges and the often messy, fascinating process of turning an idea into a finished piece.
